My students need a selection of classroom essentials, including, pencils, colored pencils, graph paper, a stapler and tape dispenser.

My Students

Why is school important? It is never to early to be thinking about and planning for your future. Education needs to make a connection between real life and their future.

How can I come to school prepared?

Daddy just lost his job... The start of school is very expensive, school supplies are a top priority but just not in the budget for most of our families. I teach approximately 200 middle school students in a rural, low income community where over 2/3 of the student body receives free or reduced lunch benefits.

My Project

If I can provide some of the basics for my students they can come to school prepared to learn without worrying about how to get the required items on the supply list. With supplies already (pencils, colored pencils, and graph paper) provided it would mean one less thing that my students would have to "stress out" about.

Without your help this will not be possible.

I would have to send the supply list home requesting that my students bring these items to class for us to complete a variety of class assignments. Thank you in advance for helping my classes.
