My Students

Do you remember what it was like to take a test? Well, imagine that you're taking a test, you're concentrating hard and you're trying to get it right... "screeeeeech!" You are disrupted by the sound of a moving chair!

That's the sound my students hear on a daily basis - the "screeeeeching" sound of moving chairs.

Have you ever tried to move a chair quietly only to make more noise? That happens often too. We need "chair soxs" so we can move about (or just stretch) without making sounds that can disrupt other students. Volume down - learning up! Students are seeking to become more organized learners this year too!

My Project

Imagine reading a book and actually finishing a chapter or page without being disrupted by the sound of a moving chair? That's what these students imagine every day. Many students can become easily distracted; therefore, making it more difficult to remain focused. Being organized always helps too. So not only are we focused on keeping the screeching to halt, but becoming more organized as individual learners as well. We are asking for "chair soxs" to soften the noise and student organizers to become more organized.

It may sound like a small request, but it will reap big results! So please assist me in keeping the focus where it should be - on the lesson not on the noise.
