The Students Say Let's Organize The Science Room

My students need storage carts to organize the science room.

My Students

Some of my students are bright energetic children who may at times pick up science materials when they come in and out of the science room - for class every forty five minutes. They pick up materials on the way out to play and explore with at lunch time.

The other portion of my students are eligible to receive free lunch.

They attend a traditional public school and they have expressed a desire to put the science materials into storage carts that would prevent other students from taking them, which leaves the stethoscope or jump rope on the floor or missing. These students are very compassionate about the way - light bulbs, hand lenses, batteries, glue, flashlights, and other utensils are left out in the open.

My Project

One storage cabinet with twenty - four storage bins, the students say "will prevent their materials from landing on the floor". They are frequently at my door saying, "can we help you?" "Can I fix the materials?"The students are looking for milk crates in the lunchroom to use, however, the cafeteria staff would like to keep their milk cartons to return to the man who delivers the milk. They are not at all discouraged.

Funding is an obstacle right now, and we purchase most of our classroom supplies out of our own pocket.

Your help with funding this storage cabinet will contribute to the organization of our science supplies and materials so that every student will be able to use them. Thank you.
