This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember your middle school years? Help my middle school students remember theirs.

The students in technology class are highly motivated but are faced with many challenges.

They are not granted the technology many schools have but with help they can create wonderful projects. The middle school is located in a high poverty area but has a lot of pride. The students enjoy expressing themselves through art, athletics and academics.

My Project

Currently, our technology department is lacking many resources other schools have. Students would love to create an end of the year video using footage they filmed themselves. This will also allow me to teach the students how to edit their footage and present their final product at the end of the year.

Students need to feel a connection to their community and school.

With this donation of camcorders, students will be able to create and document a positive school culture that they will be able to cherish for years to come.
