We've Got Game!

My students need an Eggspert Game system, two Mind Twister books, a Quiz Challenge book, a Presidential Trivia book, and large dice.

My Students

Have you ever experienced the thrill of being on a game show? The excitement of trying to win, the nerves that arise from not knowing whether or not you've gotten the answer correct, the thrill of becoming the victor. I want my students to immerse themselves in the excitement of learning games!

I teach 3rd grade at a charter school.

My students come from very diverse backgrounds. Many of my students have not been lucky enough to have many life experiences beyond home and school. Many of these students parents are single parents whom work very hard to provide for their family. Many more of these students are being raised by a relative other than their mom or dad. These kids truly see school as an escape from things that they should not be dealing with at their age. These students are smart and capable, but it is my job to help them see that everyday, because they aren't always given that support at home.

My Project

I plan on using all of the materials that I have requested to create many new and exciting experiences for my students. I want my students to be active learners. I will use all of the trivia books and the eggspert game system to replicate many different game shows. All of the game shows that my students see on television will be brought to life with them as the stars. This will be a special and memorable experience for them.
