My Students

Today's students are growing up with technology around them. We want our students to have a hands-on experience in reporting the school's news and events for the students and visiting parents.

Our students live in a socio-economically disadvantaged county in Georgia.

Many of these students are only exposed to technology at school. We believe students should be exposed at an early age to technology as well as how different types of media are created.

My Project

With the media equipment requested, our students will be able to record and create video segments for our student body. The students will report the news and events on a weekly basis. Students will not only gain knowledge about technology, but will also gain self-confidence and build communication skills.

Technology is here to stay and our students need to be exposed in positive environments.

Allowing our students to participate in the media teams will encourage and promote a healthy learning environment while creating an interest in communication and peer activities.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
