My Students

Children are the future! Our future needs environmentally conscious individuals to help to keep our planet healthy.

My students are inner city public school children.

We recently have had a few pilot project areas in the city for recycling. I want them to know the importance of recycling as well as composting. Composting is an important part of reducing the waste we humans add to the ecosystem. Teaching the children how to compost and recycle will help our planet and our future!

My Project

With these resources I will be able to teach my students how simple composting can be. We will compost in the classroom using organic materials from school and home. Hopefully, this will encourage them to start a simple compost container at home and share the resource with their friends and families.

Help me help the future generation to reuse, renew, and recycle!

Together we can make a difference and I truly believe the best way is to teach our children how to take care of the planet before it is too late!
