My Students

Can you help us catch the technology fever with a Netbook? We are a group of second grade students who love to blog and learn about the world around us. We would love to have access to a Netbook in our classroom to become engaged in our learning!

I teach an energetic group of second grade students who love technology!

They attend a small rural school in a farming community. Many students don't have the internet at home, and look forward to learning and practicing art, math, and reading skills online at school.

My Project

A Netbook would allow us to do research in our class and have questions answered right away. Then we could blog about what we learned! We love to read and want to keep that enthusiasm going. Reading online with a netbook is a wonderful way to keep engaged. Since we are reading to learn, the Netbook creates many teachable moments for us. The second grade students will learn how to become financially literate and ultimately successful in their journey through life. We're depending on you to help us create our learning in an artistic way with the netbook!

A netbook will enable us to learn lots of interesting concepts at the spur of the moment and write about it using our classroom blog.

Thanks for helping us make this possible! The Art of Learning will shine through as the students are able to use the netbook!
