My Students

My students need to learn the value of speaking fluently and grammatically correct.

My students and school are both located in Mississippi.

My students are of low economic status. I will have approximately 27 students in the coming school year of 2010/2011. My students will be excited to learn how to speak and present projects in a professional manner.

My Project

My students will learn the value of public speaking. They will be recording themselves as they present projects and in turn critiquing themselves. I believe the students can learn how to write speeches as well as the importance of the delivering of speeches through this process.

"I HAVE A DREAM" MLK Jr.

speech is just one example of a speech that will be used as a modeling tool in the classroom. This will be just the beginning of teaching the importance of public speaking in my classroom. I believe this project will teach my students the value of grammatically and politically correct speaking. Please help fund this project. You can "MAKE A DIFFERENCE".
