My Students

Wow! What a way to end our elementary years by making a documentary of our school year. We would be making a video of our journey through 5th grade!

We are a group of 5th graders at a high poverty school in Indiana.

We have a large population of English Language Learners. We would love to have a movie of our final year in Elementary School. We would document the work we complete throughout the year. This is an opportunity to meet the state standard on public speaking as well.

My Project

We are requesting a video camera and tapes so we can make a documentary of our final year in elementary school. We will be talking about the work we complete; the tests we take; the data from our assessment; as well as our successes. We will show work samples and talk about our journey towards middle school. We hope to show the video at a special program for our parents. We will each get a copy of the documentary. The memory of our special year will always be in our hearts. This is an awesome undertaking. We hope our dream will come true!
