Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

For my first grade students, I must come up with a variety of ways for them to learn. In our classroom, we are not only learning first-grade standards, but we are learning English as well--therefore pencils and paper are not always best for us.

Due to the language barrier in our classroom, we require many different learning strategies and techniques.

We use what we have available to us, but I would like to be able to provide these wonderful students with engaging ways to learn and to show them how technology can be incorporated in the classroom.

My Project

We are asking for 4 iPod Touches. We need these materials so that we can incorporate learning through listening into our classroom. If we had these materials, my students could work on their own level and have a new way to learn. My students would have a new and exciting way to practice their phonics and math skills as well as listen to stories.
