My Students

Can you imagine trying to learn how to play a string instrument on an imaginary instrument because your school does not have enough money to buy instruments for all of the students in your class?

My students are extremely dedicated middle students that desire to play the cello, but we do not have enough instruments for everyone to play at the same time.

They have to take turns playing in class (one plays the instrument while their partner plays the "air cello"). My students are extremely eager to become the best musicians in our county. They see that becoming a great musician on a string instrument can be what they need to change their future.

My Project

Picture yourself in your orchestra class and all you desire to do is make music. Now, envision trying to learn the cello and only being able to play for a small percent of the time. This is what my students are experiencing. To make things a little more challenging, the instruments that you do have, are one and two sizes too small, which means that your technique is being compromised. Would you still be interested and excited to play the cello? My students need a full size cello and extra strings for when their strings wear out.

Your donation will enable more students to be able to play the correct sized instrument.

Since my students treat our instruments like "babies", our instruments should last for a minimum of 20 years (hopefully more). Your donation will service many students in the years to come! Thank you for your time and consideration!
