My Students

Hi there!! Do you want to help my first grade scholars become magical mathematicians?

I teach 26 bright and beautiful children in a high need area of New York City.

Most of my students receive free or reduced lunch and are so eager to learn every day. Unfortunately, my classroom does not always meet the needs of my very excited learners with regards to materials and supplies.

My Project

Remember all those hours you spent learning how to add and subtract? Maybe, your parents helped you. Many of my students do not have anyone at home that works with them. They have very little support and therefore they need repeated practice at school. We practice these basic facts, and much more, using dry erase boards and markers. It is a great motivator to these children to be able to write their work on one of these MAGIC BOARDS!" My students need dry erase boards and markers to make learning basic math facts MAGICAL, by using MAGIC MATH BOARDS (dry erase boards).

The dry erase boards and math games will have a tremendous impact on my students' academic success.

Not only are these materials extremely engaging but they will also ensure student achievement.
