My Students

We're busy raising P.A.W.S! That is to say, in my community, parents and teachers are busy working together to raise Positive, Achieving, Wonderful Students!

Over 500 children attend my school each day.

Our motto is, "Expect to be impressed, our students are the best"! And it is true. From students in the most dire poverty, to those with every opportunity, we see children displaying positive, achieving, wonderful character and citizenship on a daily basis. We feel it is very important to honor these qualities, and would like to do so through a monthly recognition ceremony.

My Project

Do you remember a time when someone complimented you or gave you a pat on the back for doing the right thing? Maybe it caught you off guard. After all, as adults, most of us take behaving morally and responsibly for granted. But somewhere, at sometime, someone instilled those values in you. It's what helped shape who you are today. As teachers, we are called to help educated and shape children to become well-equipped, functional citizens. At my school, we feel an essential aspect of doing that is to offer students recognition for being Positive, Achieving, Wonderful Students.

Your generous donation will enable students to receive a special certificate, pencil, and praise sticker during a monthly recognition assembly.

It will afford them the opportunity to walk across a stage, listen to why they were nominated, shake the principal's hand, look out into the audience and see the pride in the faces of their family members and perhaps most importantly; it will make a lasting impression on each student that good character and citizenship matter.
