My Students

What would CNN do without cameras? How about National Geographic without a way to produce awe inspiring images? Please help us to look, capture, and study the world around us.

The students and I go to school in a rural area.

There is no town, just a farming community. The closest town is 10 miles away. The elementary school consists of about 300 students in PreK-3rd grade. Going to a small school has its advantages as well as disadvantages. The main disadvantage is the funding of special projects during our country's economic struggles.

My Project

My news program will be able to use the cameras in many different ways but mainly to view the many wonders in our world right outside our door. We will be taking field trips to interview elderly people in the nursing home and comparing how the times have changed and then show it on our Internet program. The children will explore the awesome world outside and share it in very creative ways with other children just how our world benefits from all, but to also encourage others to take care of it. I hope to instill leadership, helpfulness, compassion, and responsibility for themselves and our world. To think for themselves and to do what is right.

Our Internet program has news but it is also a character building program.

Words if we listen can tell us everything, pictures can say it instantly, and together they can make a profound impact upon us.
