This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Reading and Math is AWESOME!!! I believe if you make learning fun and kids will learn more. I try to incorporate subjects together to make it more interesting. With these materials I will be able to do just that...make learning FUN!!!

I teach a great group of 2nd graders.

We are made up of low to middle class income. My class range is about 12 to 14 free/reduced lunch. Our school is made up of around 45% ESL. We love to learn. We have had a lot of great learning situations in our lives over the months. Our city was hit by a tornado and a lot of our kids lost their homes and etc. School was the only stable place they had going at the time. We continue on with school after the tornado and made learning even more fun then before. Regardless of the tornado or not, learning should be fun all the time no matter the situation.

My Project

With these materials I will be able to unite reading and math together as a FUN time! The journals will be used as a reinforcement of what they have learn. They will serve as home work to be taken home each night to work one page with their parents. I will check their work each morning. These journals are awesome and the kids love them. The partitions will be used during testing time to make things fair!!! The book bags will be carried home every night with their reading book or library book. These bags are awesome. The kids feel important when they carry them home and back to school again. They will help protect our books from being torn or etc.

I feel honored to be given the opportunity to write for wonderful things in my classroom.
