My Students

Preschool children are very active and lively. It is helpful to use photographs to create visuals to make the day smoother for the young children. I had borrowed a camera throughout the year to make charts and capture moments for the graduation slide show.

Ou class is very lucky to be in the school with other elementary classes.

We get to interact with Kindergarten and a Parenting class from the High School. I have a class of 17 lively preschoolers. They are so full of love and energy! There were so many moments when I wish I would have had a camera handy to capture that energy!

My Project

If we were able to have a camera in our classroom full time, I would be able to create more visual aids to help the children become more independent. We could do more with our art projects by adding personal photos. Throughout the year I could take more pictures and capture some silly and sweet moments to add to the graduation slide show for the families.

The preschoolers will gain more independence by learning to use the visual aid charts and schedules.

They love to see pictures of themselves in the room and their faces light up when they watch the slide show.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
