My students need an iPod Touch for integrating art, music, and technology into their daily lives.

My Students

Education is not filling a pail but the lighting of a fire. ~William Butler Yeats. In order to light my students' fire, I must be able to provide them with access to art, music and technology.

My students come from low-income areas of Southeast Michigan.

They are thirsting for technology. Although they get a one-hour technology class every week, I feel it is my duty to provide them with as much tech as possible in their daily, classroom lives. The school is a performing arts school and there are hundreds of apps that I could use to further integrate the curriculum.

My Project

As stated earlier, my students LOVE technology. My classroom is lacking, but I try to do the best I can. Having an Ipod touch will allow me to introduce my students to programs such as audacity, garage band and other amazing tools that they don't yet have access to.

My students will become more engaged and motivated because of the help you've given them.

They will not just listen to the cool music available on the iPod, but they will be using it as a tool for learning!
