My Students

"Be the change you want to see in the world," Mahatma Gandhi said, and my students apply this quote in my classroom and dream big every day. I want my students to capture their idea of that change is to them and share it with others!

My students are 7th and 8th graders that have unlimited potential!

They are full of energy and constantly looking for ways to express themselves! They attend school in one of the lowest funded districts in Colorado. Currently, we are experiencing unprecedented budget cuts that have left our classrooms underfunded for needed materials.

My Project

The ability to express yourself might just change your life! I feel it is so important for middle school students to learn to express themselves. This builds confidence, defines character and gives the students the knowledge that they can succeed. I will be teaching them the basics of digital photography as well as old school photography with these new cameras. Our final project, a photography portfolio, will hopefully be displayed in our community.
