My Students

My students love a good puzzle. They are currently using old puzzles that are broken or have missing pieces. Who wants to play with those?

I teach first grade in an inner-city school.

There are 18 boys and girls in our room. We love puzzles but don't have enough or complete puzzles. However, we face a lot of challenges such as poor support at home and many behavioral issues. We are finding that our first graders are facing many challenges this year. We have lower reading and math skills which will be the focus of this academic year.

My Project

Your donation to this project will help to entertain, teach and create team work among my wonderful students. These puzzles vary from social studies to language arts, and from math to science. My students love to work together, and this creates a positive attitude for learning later. Some of the puzzles will help my students to sound out, recognize and make words.

Please help these little learners feel successful and wonderful as I know they are.

Your gift to this project is a gift to them and their learning as well as gift many of my kids, both this year and for many years to come, an extra boost with their learning. These puzzles will give additional support to their reading skills. Thank your for your support to the little souls entrusted to me.
