My Students

My students have various special needs and seat work can be difficult.

When my students come to my classroom, they are asked to write and work on skills or assignments that are challenging for them.

During this time, they have to be in their chairs and remain there while completing their work, which can also be a challenge for some of my students.

My Project

I am requesting a donation of some seat disks that can be filled with air. These inflatable disks will provide my students with the movement and strengthening activity that they need. These disks fit on top of student chairs so they can be seated for assignments and are provided with movement they need.

By providing my students with movement in their seats, their movement needs will be met, but they will also be less distracting to other students in the class because they will not have to leave their seats or the room for movement breaks.
