My Students

MY STUDENTS ARE THE MOST SELF CENTERED CHILDREN IN THE WORLD!

Please allow me to explain.

I have the awesome responsibility of helping children with autism explore their world of education. Anyone familiar with autism knows that these children have very little interactions with the "our world" and seem to thrive in "their worlds". They often have very few opportunities to interact and learn like other children.

My Project

We have a few computers in our class but many of my students don't have the ability to fully access much of what is available on their own. For example, they don't have the ability to research. Most cannot successfully play any of the educational software by themselves. By projecting the computer screen, my students will have the ability to experience all the colors and sounds and interactive learning opportunities most of us already enjoy.

With your very kind donation of a projector, my class will have the opportunity to view my computer software and interactive web sites right on our classroom wall.

With teacher led computer time my students will be exposed to the world wide web with adult guidance and supervision. With your help we can expose all these wonderful students to computers and the Internet and make learning FUN.
