Bag 'em Up!

My students need Book Buddy Bags to prevent "water bottle leakage in the backpack" syndrome that is plaguing our library books.

My Students

"Bag 'em Up" is a campaign we would love to kick off this fall to protect our library books from "water bottle" syndrome. This condition is running rampant with our kindergarten patrons! This year we have experienced the loss of a huge number of books due to leaky water bottles in bookbags.

We are a rural elementary school in SC.

Many of our students' parents have lost their jobs. Students are not able to pay for damaged books. With our economy in its present state we are experiencing tremendous budget cuts district-wide. This greatly affects our ability to replace our damaged books. We emphasize book care and the importance of taking care of our books.

My Project

We would like to purchase plastic bags called Book Buddy Bags to kick off our campaign to "Bag 'em Up"! Each child in kindergarten would receive a Book Buddy Bag at the beginning of the year to use for their library book. The Book Buddy Bag would protect library books from "water bottle" syndrome and possibly numerous other conditions they might encounter on trips home with students!

Please help our students save our library books with the "Bag 'em Up" campaign.

Purchasing these bags will allow us to give our students something tangible to use as they learn proper book care. Our books will thank you!!
