This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our scholars are going to college! With native indigenous roots, lacrosse is a sport of high praise in top high schools and colleges. All our children strive to get into the best schools. Thus, we must teach them a popular sport at such campuses: lacrosse! We will train LA rock stars of lacrosse!

Located in historical East Los Angeles, we prepare our students to graduate from top high schools and colleges and become pro-active community members who strive to better the situations in LA and abroad.

Over 93 percent of our students are eligible for free lunch and breakfast. We are a successful college-bound school community located in the heart of a high-needs community.

My Project

We have two coaches excited to learn and teach the ways of lacrosse to the children. Yet, there are limited funds for equipment that enables extracurricular sporting activities that are normally not offered to middle school students. You can help by donating a variety of lacrosse equipment to our school. Imagine, students broadening their understanding of sports at school and advancing a sport normally exclusive to privileged communities, but only with your help!

The students are looking forward to taking a personal initiative towards learning about the sport of lacrosse.

With your contribution, you will empower our students with the opportunity to positively commit themselves towards developing into great rock stars of lacrosse!
