My Students

Reading truly comes to life with the Tag Reading System by Leapfrog!

The students at my Title 1 school live in a lower income neighborhood in Nevada.

Students come to school with a positive attitude and a desire to learn. We have a large English Language Learner population and also hold events after school to have the parents involved in their learning.

My Project

The Tag Reading System by LeapFrog would greatly improve my students reading skills. The Tag Reading System allows the children to use the Tag Reader to push on words which are then read out loud to the children! The Tag Reading System also asks comprehension questions for the children to answer and it allows the children to play rhyming games. Students will improve their phonics, rhyming, and their reading fluency.

Tag Reading is a wonderful educational tool that allows one on one instruction with the children.

This is especially valuable when there are a large number of children in the classroom. The interactive stories help students increase phonics, rhyming, and reading fluency. Stories are brought to life with the Tag Reading System.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
