My Students

Help! My students need paper in order to participate in Writer's Workshop. My students love to write and enjoy making All About books, How-To books and small moment stories.

My students are creative first graders who love to write stories about things they love such as family, friends and places close to their hearts.

My students enjoy writing time because it is a time where they can express themselves through writing. Throughout the day we write often about dance reflections, stories, poems, and during inquiry study.

My Project

My students will be able to write stories, poems, small moment stories, All About books, How-To books, non-fiction books, letters, etc. with your help. My students will be able to work on their writing. Specifically, they will be able to work on punctuation, structure and spelling with your help.

If this project is funded it will have a broad impact on my first grade students.

They are learning letter-sound relationships and how to sound out words in order to spell them. If they receive paper I will be able to copy writing paper for them in order to help them become better writers.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
