My Students

My students need awesome books that will inspire them to read, read, read!

My students live in a high-poverty area.

They do not have the resources that most kids come to school with. That being said, all of my students want to learn and improve their lives. I want to make sure I give all of my students the opportunity to read great books.

My Project

These books are wonderful award-winners, classroom favorites, and books kids ask for by title. Most notably, some books by Dav Pilkey and Kevin Henkes are on the list. These are favorite authors that kids and teachers love. Captain Underpants is an extremely popular book!

I want to make sure my students have the opportunity to read high-quality, interesting books.

These books could inspire my students to become avid readers- and hopefully change their lives.
