Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students in my class have never left their city. Reading about other parts of the world would make them feel like they have visited that country.

The students are mainly from under-served areas in the city and are very persistent.

Even though they have struggled in the past, they have never given up. Our school's motto, Work Hard, Be Nice and that's what we do. The kids get up at 5:00 am to learn and don't leave until 5:00 pm. Hard work builds character and we have lots of character.

My Project

Diversity if very important. Also, being culturally aware increases sensitivity towards others. Reading about what goes on in other countries will allow to role play and actually depict how people in other countries live and do things. This would prove to be the ultimate learning experience.

Help my students visit other countries without leaving their seat.

Your donation will make learning fun and keep the students energized. Our class will be a melting pot of culture awareness and diversity.
