My Students

We need your help to promote reading in our school. I want my students to create posters, science boards, and bulletin boards to advertise about great books! This would be made possible with the use of a die cut machine and die cut shapes.

I am a librarian at a rural, low-socioeconomic middle school in Mississippi.

I service over 230 students in the 5th-8th grade. Our student population is very diverse. My students are crazy about books. I want to advertise the library in various ways such as the following: bulletin boards to advertise reading, student projects discussing great books, reading fair boards showing story elements and much, much more!

My Project

My students will be able to express their creativity with this machine and its shapes. They will be able to advertise, grab, and sell great books. It is hard to be as eye catching as possible with hand drawn letters and shapes. This machine will make our work pop and be attention getting. These shapes will also help our special services department. The special services teachers will be able to use this machine to make hands-on letters and shapes to enhance the learning experience.
