My Students

How can I prepare students for 21st Century careers with a 20th century classroom? I received a gracious donation of 25 used laptops. Using the headsets and webcams, students will participate in online tutorials and communicate with other students across the world through education partnerships.

My students come from a low socioeconomic environment.

They are unfamiliar with technology and cannot imagine learning in an eco-friendly environment. I plan to challenge their comfort zone and engage them in class activities that both increase student achievement and are friendly to the environment.

My Project

Support my goal to create a completely environmentally friendly classroom. All assessments, assignments and labs will be done electronically. Students will form relationships with classrooms across the world. We will be a leading example of how technology can motivate students, increase achievement and inspire students to protect our environment.

My school district has already supported my initiative by finding donors for the computers.

We have a lot of community support to see this project through. With your help, we would bridge the gap between the haves and have nots and show my students the power of giving back.
