My Students

Students just love writing on dry erase boards. We can use them to practice math problems, or show answers all at one time to check for comprehension. We put them back neatly into the storage centers when finished.

Most of my students are from low income families.

I teach at a charter school, with about 75% of students on free or reduced lunch. It will be easier to get students to work harder with dry erase boards and markers to help motivate them. They love games like show-down, where we all get the answer, and show it at the same time. We can erase quickly and be off to the next challenge.

My Project

If students are enjoying what they do, they are more likely to be actively engaged in the learning process. It is every teacher's dream to make that happen. Unfortunately the resources to do this are not always available to us. Thanks to the generous support of donors like you, that it now possible.

Your contributions will enable students to enjoy working out their math problems.

Some of the concepts we teach are quite difficult. Students are less likely to give up when it is easy to erase and try again.
