My Students

Help my students build comprehension and fluency. We need books with Cd's to use in our listening center.

My students are part of an Accelerated Reader challenge.

After they read or listen to a book they get to take an Accelerated Reader quiz. The quiz is composed of 5-10 comprehension questions about the book. If they get a good grade on the quiz they earn points.

My Project

My students need these books and Cd's to use in our listening center. We only have 10 books with Cd's right now. We need the books so that we can continue to use our listening center through out the school year. The more my students read, the better their comprehension and and fluency skills become.

My school district is facing many cut backs which is effecting our classrooms.

Without donors like you, I would not have fun and motivating supplies for my classroom. I want my students to be confident readers, and with the books I have requested we can meet our goal.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
