My Students

Help us get the tool we need to get the most out our curriculum. We have lots of computer software to support our learning, but no computer in the classroom.

We are a kindergarten class at a brand new charter school.

We love to work and learn in centers. We have reading and math games and manipulatives that we use everyday to practice what we have been learning. We also have a lot of software to use during center time, but we have no classroom computer. We enjoy the time that we get to learn in the computer lab, but sometimes it is hard to reserve. We would like a computer in our classroom to use during center time.

My Project

If we have a computer in our classroom, we can make use of software that that will support our curriculum and assess and monitor student progress. The student software includes interactive books and games that students can use to build early literacy skills. Our math software includes games that build number recognition, early computation skills, and so much more. A computer in the classroom would open up a world of resources to the students.

Not only will the computer allow us to make use of our software, it will also help build computer skills.

In a world that relies on technology, it is important that children learn how to use technology at an early age.
