My Students

Math is something that is part of our everyday lives. We use it at the grocery store, gas station, mall-just about everywhere! Wouldn't math be so much easier to understand if it could relate to everyday life and was fun?!

So many of my students are hard workers.

They love learning and want to know about everything! Unfortunately, my students come from a low socio-economic area and their exposure to real life experiences is small. Many of them come from working families where the academic support at home is scarce. These students, although so young, are facing so many challenges in every aspect of their lives.

My Project

These math resources will enrich the lives of all my students! The materials I have selected are hands-on and will help my students relate what we are learning to real life situations. It will enable them to solve problems in a multitude of ways that are enjoyable!

My project is important because it will support my students in becoming successful math students.

These resources will motivate them and enhance their learning experience! They will love math even more!
