My Students

My students have seen all the renewable and alternative energy videos, but they are eager for more.

My students go to school in upstate New York.

They are in class with students from 9th grade to 12th grade. This mix of students makes for creative ideas and practical solutions to problems posed to them. They like to get involved in classroom projects as well as extra-curricular activities. Also, they are pretty competitive.

My Project

The students' favorite unit in our pre-engineering class is always Renewable Energy for Our Environment and Economy. They want to make sure that we don't destroy our planet and they also are concerned that people don't have jobs when such important work needs to be done in our society. By obtaining these 9 devices, my students will be able to explore and experiment with energy in a hands-on and exciting way. For instance, a meaningful activity that they will perform is determining the human energy required to power a light bulb and other devices.

My students want to change the world for the better.

I am honored to be able to develop meaningful activities for them that they can use to discover solutions to real world problems. These devices will be crucial in this endeavor.
