My Students

The obstacle that we face as a class is that technology is outdated and the students are limited to the creativity that they can put into these projects. They are very interested in creating a diverse project with the ability to get internet access and use new technologies available only on new computers.

My students are great kids that want to do more with technology.

They are in need of ways to be more creative outside of just what pen and paper can do. My students are very enthusiastic and ready to learn and teach others. The school they attend is amazing! We have the best teachers in the country here and the students are very aware of that. They are in need of some big empowering ideas and ways to express themselves! These netbooks would very much help the students in this process.

My Project

My students will need 2 mini netbook computers. My students will be able to use these to help make their projects much more creative. Also I will be able to tailor my projects to a much more diverse group. The lessons will be able to be changed to the functioning level of the students and they will be able to retain more information at a faster rate. The Bill and Melinda Gates foundation would be proud of the students being able to use these computers because these computers will not only help the students learn more and become more creative in class but help them in their development into adulthood. This will help the students be better prepared for their future outside of the classroom!

This opportunity for my students to be able to use new technology will empower my students to reach beyond their level of learning and creativity.

As I have stated before this will help my students learn at a higher rate, help to raise test scores and help my students become better students in the future. This is why the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation will be very proud of the work my students will be able to accomplish with this technology.
