My Students

Help my kiddos! They need help with knowing how to go back into their work, whether it is math, reading or writing to make it better. In order to do that, I must model how to do this. With a document camera, I can put a piece up and show them how it's done! Then they can do the same with theirs.

My boys and girls are in a public school setting.

We are not eligible for Title 1 funds or any other earmarked funds for technology. We have had some funds through our after school program, but it is not enough for our entire school and some classrooms do not have any technology like the one I'm requesting. We are a 3rd through 5th grade school, so my students are old enough to be able to use a piece of equipment like this and really make a difference in their education.

My Project

Imagine your own child, sitting in my classroom. Wouldn't you want him/him to have the best available. Well, that's how I feel about my children. Having the ability to have a teacher show a student how to get that good grade is like unlocking a "secret code" for the special prize! If children know what is expected of them, then they will be able to have better grades, become motivated to learn more in school, and have brighter futures than previously imagined. A document camera can assist with a wide variety of subject areas.

In closing, my students will be able to have the opportunity to learn and grow from their peers.

As the teacher, I can model how to make their performance in class better. Students need the opportunity to be successful and what a wonderful way to make sure they are using new technology tools and making their learning better!
