Organize Our Gymnasium

My students need a ball storage cage to keep the gym equipment safe and organized.

My Students

We are a high school volleyball class where we run many drills and learn the game of volleyball. However we lack the storage cage instead we used bags unfortunately our equipment keeps going missing, we need to lock up our volleyballs.

We are a very diverse high school with students from different background.

Many of our students are in ELL and do not even speak English. Many of our classes are mainstreamed therefore our PE classes consist of different abilities which we try to accommodate. In PE we communicate through play and we focus on the importance of health and fitness.

My Project

Our class keeps losing volleyballs since we cannot lock them up throughout the day. Volleyballs are expensive and if we do not have enough we cannot do proper drills that can focus on individual skills. Instead of leaving volleyballs in a bag we could put them in the cage and lock it up for safekeeping.

We are located in a poor neighborhood.

It is not easy obtaining PE equipment therefore we need to protect everything that we do have. We would like to make sure that volleyballs stay in our gym so that we could use them throughout the school year.
