Let's Create A Colorful World Together!

My students need art supplies including 2 tie-dye kits, a create-a-scarf class pack, and glass markers.

My Students

Wouldn't you prefer to live in a world full of vibrancy and color? I would, and so would my gifted Middle School and Elementary School students.

I teach Gifted Education in a very low-income, high energy school district.

I teach grades 4-12, so I work with my students for many years and get to know them well. This is a joy to me, to see my students blossom into creative, imaginative people. Our school district is going through the same financial crisis that is hitting other businesses, so little extras in the budget are being cut out. However, I feel that it's extremely important to make sure that my students have every opportunity possible to ensure that their education is top notch. I want them to color their education in vibrant shades.

My Project

My Gifted students are some of the most creative students that I have come across. They love to take projects and add extra details to them, such as color and technology. Unfortunately, we are in need of Art supplies. Our budget is so tight that we're looking to get books and update our technology, extras like glass markers would fall to the wayside. I can't go to the Art teacher every time I need paint or paper because they need to keep their classroom supplied as well. I am in need of some supplies so that I can give my students the opportunity to expand on their class projects. Tye-dying kits and scarf kits - both of those things are supplies that larger, wealthier schools would be able to buy without even blinking. My Gifted students more than deserve the same opportunities. By supporting my project, you are supplying my students with the equipment to let their creativity flow. They can use their minds and their hands to create amazing objects.

By donating to my project, you can help to ensure that my Gifted students will be able to keep their world colorful and imaginative.

This project is so important to me - to help a developing world stay vibrant, bright and beautiful.
