My Students

Most of the students that come through the Virtual Enterprise class are not future video publication majors. Therefore, most of them do not necessarily own a video camera or any video editing software or have any experience in making a video. A Macbook Pro is user-friendly enough to learn easily.

The students in virtual enterprise range from the top to the bottom.

There are students that may be C average in core classes, such as math, but will exceed all expectations in the business class and realize what they want to do in the future. The business world doesn't care if you made a 92 or 93 in Algebra II. The business world cares if you can get the job done efficiently. The virtual enterprise class is set in a real-world office environment, which a student would not be able to get anywhere else in high school classes.

My Project

We are in desperate need of a computer capable of making movies to present to local businesses and other virtual enterprise firms. Most laptops are not capable of making videos without extensive memory and a fast processor. The Macbook Pro is a computer that is fully capable of performing these duties for us. The Mac is an easy-to-use computer that is user-friendly, and it is easy to learn how to use.

Donations are a huge part of how we are funded.

Without donors, we would not have even half of the resources and supplies we have. We would not have the chance to attend the New York International Trade Fair either. If we had this Macbook Pro, we would be able to make movies to show to potential donors and put us in a position to reach much higher levels in our virtual business world.
