My Students

"Can my group have a laptop" is a phrase that will soon be outdated! I want every student to have access to a laptop in my classroom. I want to prepare students for the career/job world as well as the college world and laptop technology is critical for them to understand!

I teach a mixture of student abilities in our coastal town.

We are a small town whose main method of economy is based on tourism. Many of my student's parents are connected to the tourism industry and have really felt the downturn of the economy. My principal really encourages new methods and techniques and as a result I like to try new methods in the classroom.

My Project

My students are fascinated with technology such as HP laptops. It is something that is everywhere, their after school jobs, phones and television. It literally everywhere. However, it is really expensive! If students want to be prepared for college and the job world, then have to have a background in technology. I want to create students who know how to use the applications and troubleshoot in order to be successful in the college classroom and in the job force.

It will also ensure that the resources will make them more successful in the classroom and workplace. Your donation will make our students more successful.
