This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class is having a science party! We would like to invite the Science "Tub Family". We have the "science Book family" and the "Science Vocabulary" family already confirmed;however, we need your help to get the exciting Science "Tub family" to come too.

I teach in a high poverty school(over 99% poverty) with an all English as a second language classroom.

There are nearly one thousand students in the school. Many of these students also have special needs. They are wonderful children with a high interest for learning. They respond well to many visuals and are always eager to learn. We often must share or wait for resources. Machines are often broken and need of repair.

My Project

Learning Science Activity Tubs - Gr. 4-6 - Complete Set My students will conduct lots of fascinating experiments—and explore the scientific process in action! These tubs each include 8 experiment cards with involving activities based on national science standards. Plus, we will get tons of materials to complete each experiment and explore concepts in depth—from microscopes, pulleys and 3-D models to fun flip books, vocabulary cards and full-color charts that make key concepts easy to grasp! Targets standards in these areas: • Force & motion • Anatomy • Earth science • Life science • The solar system • Physical science • Chemistry • Properties of matter

Ok,have you ever been to a party without games or entertainment?

Have you ever been to a party without decorations? Well if you fund the"Tub" family they will be our "pin the tail on the donkey". I can just imagine the student all excited experimenting with race cars,looking at the stars, investigating pullies. Just having a blast and learning at the same time. Please don't be a party pooper!!!! Put the icing on the cake and fund this project!!!!
