What better way to learn about plant and animal cells than to see an actual model of them!

I believe that ALL children can learn. That is why I love teaching 5th graders at our Title 1 school. Many of our students live in difficult situations and need to feel loved and cared for at school.

With our economy struggling and the lack of any instructional funds this year, I would love to improve my students Science skills by getting more "hands on". Doing this would improve all students chances to learn. As an educator, I have learned that there are different types of learners. I feel these animal and plant cells models would definitely be beneficial to visual learners and especially my inclusion students.

I have learned that teaching is not as easy as people think, and it is even harder to reach all learners when you do not have the supplies you need to teach your lessons. You will make it possible for my students to plant seeds of learning about our bodies so maybe one day they will become contributing citizens who love and care about making a difference in our world.
