My Students

It is amazing to view the world through a child's eyes. The imagination, the wonder, the ability to see things adults have long forgotten. For our students, some have not been able to experience all the world has to offer, and as a teacher, I would like to unlock the door to their learning.

Our school is small, our heart is big; we have been forgotten by our community, thus struggling for resources to assist our growth and learning.

Our area is not surrounded by recreation centers or parks; so our school has taken it upon itself to give the children something to look forward to after school, to foster their knowledge and give the children a safe, loving place to grow, as well as other opportunities besides hanging out and falling prey to gangs. Our population is gaining in number, but parents are without the means necessary to provide outside resources.. We try to give back to our students at every opportunity with field trips and personal time. We are a recognized school, we have devoted teachers and staff that are striving for excellence. Imagine what we could do with your help...Imagine what we could do for our children if only a hand would reach out and say...we are here for you.

My Project

There is nothing more painful to a teacher than looking into the eyes of a child and saying we can not...at our school resources are low, our motivation is high. Teachers are joining forces and uniting to bring all that we can to our students. It is important that the talents of our students are fostered by providing the medium for expression such as a memory card to save the beautiful pictures captured by an aspiring photographer. Imagine what we could do with your help! Imagine what we could do for our children if only a hand would reach out and say...we are here for your dreams, they shall not be forgotten.

Our school budget is allocated for books and supplies to teach, but the materials we are requesting would extend their studies to help our children become college and career ready.

Our students are very excited and eager to learn and explore all their hidden talents. Your assistance in this endeavor would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for supporting our school's efforts.
