My students need 29 scientific calculators to solve problems, equations, and complete labs in physical science.

Hi, I am a high school teacher in an area that has been hit hard by the current economical times. 94% of the students in my physical science class are on free or reduced lunch and many of them are working after school to help support their families since all of the factories in this particular area have closed in the past two years. This is a very high-need class in a very rural community.

Due to the loss of jobs in the area my students have no supplies for class. My students need this class for graduation and as a prerequisite for college admission. These students are great and really deserve a chance to succeed in life. All of my students have the ambition to continue their education after high school and most have already been accepted to four year universities. They need calculators in order to complete assignments and work out problems to prepare them academically for college.

My students need 29 scientific calculators to complete labs, problems, class assignments, and prepare themselves for college. They will use the calculators on a daily basis in the class and are even required to have calculators on the state end of course test.

Your help will guarantee that my students have the skills needed to succeed, not only high school but in years to come.
