I teach at an urban charter school. I have 22 third grade students in my class. We are a high need community and are committed to having students be successful in both Math and Reading.

My students are very hands-on learners and enjoy using concrete objects to help understand each concept being taught. My students are very interested in learning new Math skills.

Included in this project are hands-on center materials including clocks to help students tell time, fake money to help count change, etc. This project will benefit my students by giving them hands-on materials to use. Students will use these materials to help prepare for the N.Y.S. Math test that will be given in May.

Your help will ensure that my students do their very best on the N.Y.S. Math test. You will make it possible for my students to be successful in Math.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
