My Students

Remember the excitement after posting your accomplishments on your refrigerator? I'm proud to be the 6th-8th grade school counselor for a middle school in Oklahoma. I'm proposing a project allowing our Title I, high need school to promote students' accomplishments and efforts to our community.

Our middle school is composed of a student population made up of 70% subsidized lunch program recipients and 67% Native American students.

Many students in our school's population qualify with low-socioeconomic status and have access to few supplies.

My Project

Currently, we do not have a digital camera available for uploading pictures of our students' accomplishments to our school website and to our community newspapers. A camera available to our staff and students would exemplify our students' and school's accomplishments and keep our students, parents, and community members informed.

By providing our school site with a camera, you will make a tremendous impact in our students' future education and careers.

Students' accomplishments may not be made available to our local website and community newspapers without use of a camera. Please take the time to support our students' actions and exemplify their tremendous efforts.
