"Rebuild the Media Center!" I am the Media Specialist, at my school, grades K- 5. We are a Title I school, with students from a broad range of socioeconomic backgrounds.

We are moving into a brand new school. The media center has lots of great books for the students to read and gather information, however the collect is old so we are working to put current materials into the hands of our students.

Students often come into the media center asking for the latest books that are out. It saddens me to have to tell them "No, we don't have that!" I can see the excitement on their faces when they ask about the books, so I know they would be overwhelmed with excitement to actually see that we do have the books they want.

Your help will be greatly appreciated by myself as well as the students at our school. Students are the key to our future. "Readers become Leaders!"
