My Students

Many of my students have no one at home who encourages them towards success in life and education. It is my desire to give my students the resources they need to meet with success for the rest of their lives. They are loving children who need someone to believe in them. I show them how to succeed!

I teach students who are underprivileged.

Many come to school hungry with poor clothing and no supplies. Some days I am the only positive adult they interact with. I value each moment I am with my students. I know when they go home they don't have a parent who is helping them advance their learning. My school does everything possible to give our students the knowledge and confidence to achieve their goals!

My Project

My students need books that show them how math concepts apply to real life. They rarely find that connection on their own. I want them to see how the topics they learn at school are useful in real life! My students live very rough lives. They are not interested in learning unless they can see how it is useful to their everyday life.

I love my students.

I spend every moment of the school day showing my students how special and unique they are. I want them to grow academically, but more importantly I want them to leave 4th grade feeling confident and loved. I want them to look back on 4th grade as the grade that gave them the hope of living a different life than their parents.
