I teach 6th-grade U.S. History in a low-income, high-need urban middle school. Many of my students do not have computers at home, and if they do, they tend not to have Internet access. Providing the students with USB thumb drives is a simple move that will allow the students to save their work on computers in varying locations and bring it with them. This will allow them to more fully integrate the available technology in their lives. Your help will allow my students to maximize their use of classroom computers, school computer labs, home computers, and the resources of the public library.
